Necedah Police Chief Seth Tully (left) accepts
a donation of an Automated External Defibrillator (A.E.D.) from local
business owner Ron Mederos Builders in Necedah. "I just decided to
do something for the community." Mederos said of donating the de
ice, which costs around $1,200. He also thanked Bob Kasper, who
works in purchasing at Mile Bluff Clinic in Mauston with helping him
purchase the device and completing all of the necessary paperwork and
Kathy Kohutko of Mauston for introducing him to Kasper. "I had
been talking about doing this since spring," he said, but he said it
just took the right connections to make it happen. "Every once in
a while we have instances where we need it (an A.E.D.)," Tully
said, "This will be great!" Tully added the device will be a "very
big asset." |
